The Hope Supercross Series 2025 is poised to elevate cyclocross* in the UK, featuring four UCI races packed into one week. Headlined by the only C1 race in the country, this series sets the stage for unparalleled action, attracting Europe’s best riders and showcasing the sport’s elite talent.
Hosted in Bradford—the 2025 City of Culture—this event promises a dynamic crossover of world-class cycling and vibrant local culture. Cyclocross has a rich history in the UK, with grassroots events consistently drawing hundreds of participants each weekend. The challenges of a cyclocross course make it an ideal environment for riders to hone their technical skills, and it’s where some of the UK’s top road cyclists first cut their teeth as juniors. The likes of Tom Pidcock, Zoe Backstedt, and rising stars such as Cat Ferguson are now excelling on the global stage.
Alongside Hope, Shibden CC—one of the biggest youth cycling clubs in the UK—is co-organizing the series. The club helps local kids in Bradford discover cycling, and even runs a junior race team, Shibden Apex, which was last season’s top-ranked Junior Women’s team. Shibden CC has paved the way for local riders like Cat Ferguson (Movistar) and Imogen Wolff (Visma Lease a Bike) to reach the World Tour.
The series will bring the best international riders to UK soil. In just two years, we’ve grown from hosting a handful of European competitors to welcoming over 30 riders. With the addition of C1 status in 2025, that number is set to soar. This race will be the first C1 event of the European season, offering top riders a golden opportunity to secure UCI points early—making the series a must-attend event for both competitors and spectators.
Our aim is to rival the legendary races of Belgium, creating a platform for riders and fans alike to celebrate this incredible sport.
