The event is promoted by the Empella/cyclo-cross.com with support from Derby Mercury RC, South Pennine RC and Heanor Clarion CC. As a group, the event organisation is called Derby Cyclocross.
The event is sanctioned by cycling’s worldwide governing body, Union Cyclist International (UCI) and the national governing body, British Cycling.

Tim is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of a safe and successful event with matters concerning the circuit layout. He’s been involved in cycling for over 35years racing in various categories and disciplines during that period, he’s been involved with cyclocross for 10 years or so and is an active member of the local league as well as an organiser for local CX events.
Tim’s been involved with the National Trophy at Derby for quite a few years now and has been the course director for 6 additions, he absolutely loves the challenge each year to tweak and keep the course interesting for the riders.
